School Registration fee is covered. Tutorial service and supportive/ reference books for quality education; for the children to excel & for the improvement of their result tutorial service are provided for them. School bag provision and Quarterly School supplies/items such as Exercise books, pen, pencil, ruler, sharpener, eraser, mathematical instruments and scientific calculator are given out to all sponsored children. Encouraging Prize/ reward are given to outstanding students that achieved good results. Capacity building trainings are organized such as computer, language, hand crafts and artwork skill trainings for all of the children based on their interest. And different types of vocational skill (driving license, metal works, Dairy production, electric maintenance, barberry, hair dressing, cooking and catering) trainings and coaching are facilitated and the costs are covered for college and TVT students.
Monthly/ regular pocket money is provided for college and university students, transportation cost is covered for University students allocated out of Addis Ababa and smartphones and laptop provision for engineering university students. Empowerment and departure gift for grown children, college and university graduate children for sustainable development are part of the sponsorship program.
Quarterly food item distributions such as grain (Teff) and food oil; supplementary food (rice, macaroni and pasta), flour and additional spices needed to make stew.
Monthly medication, purchasing of medicines and yearly health screening, regular additional foods for beneficiaries at risk like eggs, milk, beans, multi vitamins and different materials support to respond to health emergencies for beneficiary children and parents/ project participants that needs special care and continuous follow up and counseling by health officer and staffs. Regular monthly hygiene keeping items for all sponsored children and sanitary pad for girls are distributed. Yearly distribution of Cloths, T-shirt, underwear, socks and shoes are provided for sponsored children. Trainings on family planning, personal& environmental hygiene including HIV/Aids for all beneficiaries
Consistent life skill and moral based trainings, Kids/ youth trainings on educational issues like time management, how to study (special attention and follow up for children with low results), addressing social issues through peer grouping (anti HIV AIDS, Art and girls club).
Different trainings are delivered to children divided according to their age such as goal setting/ planning, personal growth, mind set up, healthy friendships/ peer pressure, youth related challenges, emotional control, sexual purity, STDs, Gender Based Violence, character formation, contraceptives proper usage, trauma healing sessions, counseling and training sessions for youth, children and special need children at risk. Regular home plus School and hospital visit as needed by staffs and volunteer staffs.
Recreational trips and educational retreats for the children to empower, strength the friendship bonds between children and to create memories. Quarterly peer group meeting and refreshment ceremony and Gender education for girls-coffee are organized ceremony.
